Description

While 3D printing technology has been available for over 25 years, recent advances have made it a more attractive tool for creating both customized technology for clients and developing new devices.  The aim of this presentation is to describe the processes, printers, and materials available and how it can be applied to specific case studies.  Emphasis will be placed on how 3D printed assistive devices can be leveraged by those with less in-house fabrication resources as well as discussing alternative low cost options for design software, 3D scanning and 3D printing.
